Halo 5: Guardians and NASCAR Race Together for a Weekend of Speed

Over the weekend, fans of Halo and NASCAR were given a special treat as both worlds came together to race in the Hollywood Casino 400 at Kansas Speedway.



As part of the partnership between 343 Industries and Xbox, Hendricks Motorsports and Chip Ganassi Racing, race goers and viewers at home watched Dale Earnhardt Jr. and Jamie McMurray went head-to-head on the racetrack and in the arena. Jamie’s team won the Halo 5: Guardians 4 vs. 4 multiplayer match, but being on the same team as 343 Industries’ Kiki Wolfkill might have had something to do with it.



Besides playing alongside and against pro race drivers, Kiki had the unique honor of standing on the flagstand to wave the green flag to start the race, with a certain familiar someone at her flank (it was the Master Chief).



It was a great weekend of speed and we hope Halo fans and NASCAR fans had a great time watching the race!
