#2 or #3 – SUROS ARI-45
- Perfect Balance, Injection Mold, Spray and Play
- Fitted Stock, Reinforced Barrel, Counterbalance
We start off our Wednesday with a fantastic PvE roll for this high-impact Auto Rifle. Perfect Balance and Injection Mold make for a great combination of stability, and Spray and Play solves your reload concerns in any PvE game mode. Make sure you fire to the end of your clip and enjoy the heavily increased reload speeds.
As for the PvP crowd, Roll #3 may be better for the Crucible, where reload speed isn’t as essential as range and stability. Counterbalance and Reinforced Barrel combine with Fitted Stock to offer an incredibly powerful stat blend, and with the recent buffs to this archetype, this might be a good choice.
#2 – SUROS ARI-41
- Perfect Balance, Snapshot, Rangefinder
Sadly, these rolls can’t measure up to our wishlist, but #2 is pretty good. This Auto Rifle needs to have maximized range to compete in the Crucible, but none of the rolls address this problem without skimping out on other perks. Partial Refund isn’t valuable enough for PvE or PvP either, so wait until next week to see if something better comes. We’ll be looking for range boosters, Spray and Play for PvE and Hidden Hand for PvP.
None – Lyudmila-D
There are some decent rolls this week, but the Lyudmila-D has much more potential than we see here today. Hold on to this package and get our your wish list. We’ll want Counterbalance to perfect the awkward Hakke recoil pattern. After that, we’ll want reload buffs for PvE and range/stability for PvP. If you see any of these combinations next week, pull the trigger!
#2 – SUROS PDX-45
- Perfect Balance, Full Auto, Rifled Barrel
This is just about a perfect roll for the PDX-45. With the fast fire rate, Full Auto serves a valuable purpose. Keep holding the trigger and think more about your aiming than firing! If that wasn’t good enough, Perfect Balance grants almost perfect stability while Rifled Barrel takes away from the plentiful reload speed to boost range. Overall a great roll for PvE and PvP.
#3 – SUROS JLB-42
- Heavy Payload, Tracking, Javelin
This is all you need in a PvE Rocket Launcher! We’ve had plenty of weeks where the Gunsmith skimps out on good perks for our JLB models, so take advantage this week and pick this up! Heavy Payload and Javelin increase the most important stats for our Rocket Launchers, blast radius and velocity. With Tracking, you’ll be able to aim in on bosses and ensure an accurate shot. Overall a great roll with void damage to boot!

Arminius-D
This Auto Rifle archetype has become extremely popular with the introduction of the Doctrine of Passing, but with this gun’s stat blend, we’ll need a lot of help from perks to be competitive. We’ll see next week if there are enough perks offered to shore up the stability while providing some use in either PvE or PvP.
Jingukogo-D
Despite being named differently than the Strongbow-D Shotgun, the Jingukogo-D is the exact same as the Strongbow-D besides having 2 more reload speed. Talk about variety. Basically, this shotgun is a low-impact, high rate of fire archetype that won’t be preferred in PvP but can work in PvE. We’ll look to see if there are any interesting rolls next week regardless, as certain perks like Spray and Play can make shotguns much more viable in PvE.
SUROS ARI-45
This is a slower rate of fire Auto Rifle with a very balanced, middle-of-the-pack stat blend. Overall, it will need a boost to stability in order to become a reliable Crucible threat, but it’s base 48 range should keep it viable in most engagements. With the buff to this archetype, we’ll be giving an extra look to PvP options, as the increased damage has helped bring this archetype back to relevant status.
SUROS JLB-47/JLB-42
Another week of double rockets! As always, here are the standard rules for this situation: If you want the best chance at a roll, buy both packages! That way, you have six chances at something decent. If you want to pick one, buy the JLB-47. This one is basically the same as the JLB-42 but with a bit more velocity. This has always been a good Rocket Launcher, so we’d recommend picking up an order if you don’t already have a good one to rely on!
