None – SUROS ARI-41
There are a few perks on each roll that are good. However, we just don’t see the synergy from all three perks on any of these rolls. Hopefully next week we’ll be able to address this gun’s low range while adding a reload booster for PvE or maybe Hidden Hand for PvP.
#3 – Judith-D
- Crowd Control, Who’s Next?, Explosive Rounds/Reinforced Barrel
This roll isn’t amazing, but the gun is on sale again this week. Why not pick this one up just in case we don’t see anything this fun in the future? Crowd Control and Explosive Rounds sound awesome for PvE if you’re running strikes. Hopefully we see something more PvP-centric next week!
#2 – Uffern HC4
- Luck in the Chamber – Snapshot / Braced Frame – Life Support / Danger Close
We understand that Luck in the Chamber is an amazing perk. We also understand that Bungie has taken steps to make range less important in Hand Cannons. Hopefully we get a perfect roll next week, because seeing some good perks paired with average ones is a heartbreaker this week.
None – Lyudmila-D
Keeping on with the buzzkill theme, don’t pick up a Lyudmila without the Counterbalance perk. Don’t believe us? Pick up one without Counterbalance and try firing it. The perk is just too good, even after the weapon tuning update’s changes to it. Hopefully we see a good roll next week!
#2 – UZUME RR4
- Army of One, Single-Point Sling, Mulligan
There’s not much you’re going to get from the Uzume’s perk pool other than some PvE-centered perks. Army of One and Mulligan certainly help in this mode, offering you some good cooldown reductions for your abilities and a few bullets here and there returned to your gun after a miss. This isn’t the kind of gun you want to hang on to for that “perfect” roll, as it just doesn’t have the potential with its impact archetype and perk pool.
Next Week’s Orders
| Weapon | Type | Impact | Notable Stat |
| Cocytus SR4 | Scout Rifle | High | Range (74) |
| Hakke Judith-D | Hand Cannon
|
High | AA (60) |
| SUROS PDX-45 | Pulse Rifle | Low | Reload (90) |
| Lyudmila-D | Pulse Rifle | High | Stability (54) |
| SUROS JLB-42 | Rocket Launcher | n/a | Velocity (67) |
Cocytus SR4
The Cocytus SR4 is a high-impact Scout Rifle that packs huge range (74). If you’re a fan of this archetype of scouts that hit like a truck, this is a good order to place. With a magazine size of 13, perks like Extended Mag and Triple Tap will be on the wish list for PvE builds, but with Omolon’s highly-situational perk pool, it’s going to be hard to find a clear winner for PvP.
Judith-D
Repeat! For the archetype here, we’re looking at the highest impact class, similar to a Timur’s Lash. However, the gun will be coming in with base 17 stability, 26 reload speed and a clip size of 7, so there are a lot of deficiencies that perks will need to fix.
SUROS PDX-45
This gun falls in the same impact category as the Crucible Quartermaster’s Hawksaw but with more stability, reload and aim assistance. This is always a must-order for next week. There are a number of perk combinations that will work for this gun, but we’ll also be looking for a good scope. The gun has 22 base range, so we’ll definitely need a fix, but if we get a good roll next week, you can expect to see this gun everywhere in PvE and PvP alike.
Lyudmila-D
With a solid roll, this gun can still do some work in PvP as a legendary primary. It has base range of 63 and stability of 54, so we’ll want to preserve the range while increasing stability to laser-like levels, and a reload perk like Feeding Frenzy would be icing on the cake. Counterbalance is going to be the key, as Hakke Pulse Rifles have an awkward recoil pattern that needs to be corrected for maximum accuracy.
SUROS JLB-42
Being a Rocket Launcher, we’re going to be most interested in the rolls rather than the stats, but this launcher will offer us the right stats to be competitive in PvE and PvP. With a high blast radius of 84, magazine size of 2 and velocity of 67, the JLB-42 will give you everything you need to hit your targets, and we highly recommend placing an order to try it out next week.
